Lala Kent Shares New Video of How She Covered Up Her “Rand” Tattoo

Lala Kent has a lot of tattoos. (Watch the video above to hear her talk about some of her favorite pieces of ink.) But after her recent split from fiancé Randall Emmett, one stamp on her upper arm was no longer suiting her. 

In November 2021, eagle-eyed fans noticed a change to Lala's body art in a photo on her Instagram page: The Vanderpump Rules mom had expanded the Rand tattoo on her arm to now read bRand new. (Prior to that, the unedited ink was last seen in an October 2021 video from Give Them Lala Beauty shoot.) More recently, in a Febuary 17 Instagram share, the entrepreneur gave more details about exactly what went down when she had her mark redone. 

In the new video, Lala can be seen in a tattoo parlor while an artist takes a tattoo gun to her arm. As Fetty Wap's Brand New blares in the background, Lala gives a closeup look at the finished product. Her caption confirmed that she covered her ink on October 20, 2021, just days after she was first spotted out in public without her engagement ring. 

At the Vanderpump Rules Season 9 reunion, Lala opened up about the breakup. "We were soul mates, we fell in love, and of course I didn't think that he was gonna be doing this to me," she shared in the January 26 episode. After photos surfaced showing Randall out with two other women, she recalled, "I was very closed off for about a week... I stayed in the bedroom with the door locked." Lala recounted ultimately leaving their shared home when Randall was out of town in Miami. "I packed five years' worth of my things," she said. "And I got the f--k out."
