Lala Kent Got Her Daughter Ocean a Louis Vuitton Bag for Her First Birthday
"I know a lot of you are going to think I'm nuts, but hear me out," the Vanderpump Rules mom said.
For Lala Kent's daughter's first birthday, the Vanderpump Rules mama went all out — and we mean all out. The under-the-sea-themed bash for Ocean Kent Emmett spared no details and included dreamy pastel balloon displays, a gorgeous picnic table complete with sea-shell-shaped pillows, a play area for the children that had a white castle bounce house and a ball pit with custom text reading "Ocean Vibes," and sea-creature-shaped desserts. Oh, and did we mention there was a full selection of custom goodies (most with Ocean's face on them) at "Ocean's Sea-Merch-In" including visors, coloring books, sunglasses, and t-shirts? And Lala didn't stop there.
Of course, the mama got her daughter a present that was equally over-the-top. On March 22, Lala shared a series of Instagram Stories that captured her gift to Ocean: a mini pochette black-and-beige two-tone Louis Vuitton monogram Empreinte leather purse ($880). The small handbag had an embossed monogram logo and sleek gold chain. Lala was all smiles as she held up her "little twin" and rocked a matching Louis Vuitton petit sac plat ($1,820).
"I know a lot of you are going to think I'm nuts, but hear me out," Lala wrote. "I really have a love for bags. My grandmother passed a lot of hers [on to] me, and I will one day pass them on to O. For my baby [girl's] first birthday, I wanted to get her her first bag."
In a March 15 Instagram, Lala shared a heartwarming message to mark her little one's milestone birthday. "Happy first birthday to you, Ocean," she wrote. "This past year has been the best year of my life. You are the most amazing thing to ever happen to me. You are sweet, determined, independent, curious — a bright light in our lives. You are going to do incredible things in this world, baby. I will always be here to catch you when you fall, carry the weight when it gets too heavy, and protect you with all I have. Being your mama is an honor, O. Happy birthday, baby girl."
