Lala Kent Opens Up About Her New Home: It's "Definitely More Me"

As Lala Kent continues to get settled in her new home, she is opening up about how it's different than her former abode. (See where Lala previously lived in the video above.)

“My new one is definitely more me," the Vanderpump Rules cast member said in a March 21 Amazon Live. "It feels like my home because it is my home, and I got to start it from scratch when it came to the paint color and my furniture. It was all me. I didn’t have to consult with anybody. I just filled it with everything that I loved.” 

While Lala explained that the home is "not gigantic," it is "definitely not small" either. "But it’s mine," she declared. "That’s what I think I love most about it. It’s very calm. I’m all about energy.”

Currently, Lala is "down one less bedroom than the old place," but she's not missing the extra space. "I actually enjoy — contrary to what people may believe — I love smaller, more condensed places," she shared. "I find that they're easier to decorate."

Decorating has been an exciting process for Lala, who recently hired Home on Point to organize her closets, glam room, and her daughter Ocean's nursery. During the Amazon Live, she raved about some of her new items, including vanilla-scented cube candles that are "so cute," a "fabulous" ottoman, and a ring bowl that she "had to have." As she explained, "I'm finding that the finishing touches on my place are what I'm having the most fun with."
