Vanderpump Rules business partners Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval celebrated their new “chic neighborhood lounge” and shared what to expect on its menu.
Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval’s new venture, Schwartz & Sandy’s, is finally finished! On July 19, the Vanderpump Rules cast members celebrated the launch of their cocktail lounge and restaurant at a grand opening party hosted by DailyMail.com and TMX. As you can see in the photos below, the completed space is filled with eye-catching furniture and decor.
At NBCUniversal’s upfront presentation in May, Sandoval and Schwartz opened up about the progress of their latest business. “Schwartz & Sandy’s is moving along,” Sandoval shared. “It’s one of those things where we’ve learned a lot. Some of those lessons have been the hard way, but it’s just gonna be so amazing when it opens in two months.”
“We have a chef on board,” Schwartz added. “Our booths are almost done. It’s starting to look like our vision... It’s awesome. It’s a funky, eclectic, playful cocktail lounge. I think people are going to love it. You’re gonna come, you’re gonna have a good time. The music’s gonna be on point.”
Noting they would offer “delicious, yummy food” and “great cocktails,” Schwartz revealed what to expect on the menu. “We want it to be a fun, funky, chic neighborhood lounge, but we wanted to do a little homage to our Midwest roots,” he said. “So we’re going to do some toasted ravioli from St. Louis.” Additionally, there will be “St. Louis–style pizza [made with] Provel cheese,” Sandoval shared.
“We might do a Juicy Lucy,” Schwartz added, explaining that the dish is a “burger with the American cheese inside” and it’s “deliciously dangerous.” There will also be “some healthy stuff,” he noted.
As for the “fresh, crushable cocktails,” Schwartz is particularly excited about the “pistachio mai tai,” while Sandoval “can’t wait for people to try the Elephant in the Room.” Although there will be a rotation of seasonal drinks, Schwartz clarified, “We have some classics, of course, too.”
