Lala Kent Reveals Why She Suspected Her Engagement Ring from Randall Emmett Was “Fake”
The Vanderpump Rules cast member shares the exact moment she knew something was “wrong” with her engagement ring after she and Randall split.
On the April 11 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Lala Kent had plenty to say about her split from Randall Emmett. However, there was one subject in particular that Andy thought was especially "wild."
While answering the titular host's rapid-fire questions during a game, the Vanderpump Rules cast member was asked to name "the worst thing [she] discovered about Randall post-breakup." While Lala kept her response vague by hinting "the truth will come to the light," Andy seemed to have his own opinion on the matter.
"I mean, the fact that the big, huge engagement ring was a total fake had to be wild," he said. (In case you missed it: On a December 2021 episode of her Give Them Lala podcast, Lala alleged that the engagement ring Randall gave her was "fake," and, according to her jeweler, had "been treated by one or more processes to change its color." While Lala was told that the ring was worth $150,000, her jeweler claimed the number was actually "in the teens.")
In the WWHL clip above, Lala reveals the moment she knew the ring might not be as valuable as she initially thought. "[Randall] didn't ask me about it," Lala shares, referencing the time shortly after their breakup. "I was like, 'Something's going on with this.' ... I was like, 'If someone's not asking for a ring that's 150 grand, something's wrong.'"
Fellow guest Mya Allen asked if the ring was insured, and when Lala explained it was insured "by [Randall]," Andy quipped: "For what? A Big Mac? For a Happy Meal?"
