Is Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright's Engagement Cake a Sneak Peek at Their Wedding Cake?

After all, the bride does like her cakes "nekkid."

By Jenny Berg

Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor's sure-to-be-epic wedding is on the horizon, and we have questions. Questions like... what kind of appetizers will be passed during cocktail hour? Will there really be Taco Bell and Hooters snacks at the after-party? And — most pressingly — what will the wedding cake look like?

How to Watch

Watch Vanderpump Rules on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

The Feast got insight on that last topic when the Vanderpump Rules bride-to-be talked sugar and flour with us at a Tom Tom bash. "I already know what I want," Brittany said then. "Well, l can tell you what I like — I don’t know if it’s what we’d get. I like the nekkid cakes with the flowers."

Quick translation: She's talking about those Boho-chic, barely iced layer cakes that let the color of the cake show through. But if you need a visual reference, just check out the cake Magnolia Bakery prepared for the couple at their August 21 engagement party

And, check out those giant sunflowers — perfect for the party's rustic Topanga, California venue, the Inn of the Seventh Ray restaurant, which also happens to be just down the coast from their Malibu proposal venue.

Indeed, this looks like just what the lady ordered.
