Can You Guess Which Vanderpump Rules SURvers Will Compete in the Pet Lookalike Contest at World Dog Day?

Will a Vanderpump Rules doggie win an award again this year?

By Brienne Walsh

Started by the Vanderpump Dog Foundation in 2016, World Dog Day is an opportunity for people in Los Angeles to celebrate dogs, learn about global dog abuse, and check out their favorite stars from Vanderpump Rules, who always attend the event. As do the cast members of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills! It’s a veritable Bravolebrity and Bravoleb pet sighting event!

How to Watch

Watch Vanderpump Rules on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

This year, World Dog Day is taking place this upcoming Saturday, May 19, from 11am to 4pm at West Hollywood Park. Gasp! The same day as the royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle! Launder your pajamas, and stock your cabinets with snacks, because it is going to be a long day of Internet research if you want to stay abreast of both events.

Last year, Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor’s dog, Monroe, won the Puppy Pageant — and the cutie definitely deserved it, especially considering what her mother was going through at the time.

This year, a number of Vander-puppies — and actual humans — will again be participating in events. Stassi (with Luda), Ariana (with Charlotte), and Kristen (with Gibson) will be competing in the posh puppy fashion show.  Brittany, Jax, and Tom Schwartz will be competing in the doggy lookalike competition. (Side note: Are they sourcing an adoptable dog that look like Scar from The Lion King for Jax or will he be competing with Kingsley or Monroe?)

Lala Kent and James Kennedy, unfortunately, will not be in attendance, or else they would obviously have been behind the DJ booth, fighting like siblings

Other Bravolebrities expected to attend the event include Camille Grammer, Dorit Kemsley, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, Lydia McLaughlin and Kyle Richards. They should be easy to identify by the stiletto marks they leave in the grass.

In preparation, clear your schedules because you will need to constantly be refreshing Instagram to get pictures of the event if you’re not in Los Angeles already. Happy Saturday!
