A WWHL viewer wrote in with the question: "Do you and Sandra Bullock stay in touch after bonding over being adoptive parents on Today?" That would be an affirmative!

"We do stay in touch," Kotb revealed. "She's someone who sort of guided me through the process when I was wondering can I do it? She said to me: 'Oh, yes you can. I remembered thinking I wonder if it's too late, I wonder if I missed my lane or my window, and she said: there is no box, anymore. You go for it.' She's been kind of a guiding light."

Peep the clip above to listen to Kotb share the story, and to hear more about the process of adopting a child in the United States. You will get chills when you hear about the moment — at 11:54 — when she knew she was about to be a parent.
