Andy Cohen Fell in Love Online: "The First Picture I Saw of Him Is Just Ingrained in My Memory"
Sounds like love at first sight for the WWHL host.
They say when you know, you know and, for Andy Cohen, when he first spotted Wacha, he just knew. "The first picture I saw of him is just ingrained in my memory," the WWHL host recently dished to PEOPLE. "I feel like I fell in love on Tinder."
Let's take a moment to pause for our collective "awwwww."
With that out of the way, now that Wacha is happily living in NYC, he's seeing all the benefits to having a famous father — for example, meeting celebrities, getting free gifts, inspiring works of art, and generally feeling part of the popular crowd.
But there are downsides as well. For Wacha, Andy Cohen’s beloved beagle mix — Cohen dubbed him “Ralph Lauren Snoopy” in that same interview — the pitfalls are getting fed too many treats.
Yup, Wacha got a little chunky as a result. Don’t judge! Wacha was just taking what was offered to him.
The good news is that being the BFF (or BDF) of a celebrity — our Bravo leader! — gives Wacha access to all the latest in diet trends. For example, the Purina ONE 28-day Challenge, in which Wacha was fed only Purina ONE, a food with no fillers, for 28 days. The result? Andy said that his eyes were much brighter, and his coat was shinier.
Now, Wacha and Andy are challenging other dogs to take up the challenge and, for every dog who signs up for the challenge from May 22 to June 30, Purina will donate $5 to the Petfinder Foundation.
And yaaaas, Bravo fan, you’re right! Andy did find Wacha while searching on Petfinder. They had an immediate soul mate connection on this animal version of Tinder.
To help others find what they have — love that involves lots of singing and fighting over the clutch spot on the couch — Andy and Wacha are putting on a gallery show in New York on April 22. The exhibition will feature never-before-seen shots of Wacha and Andy at home, as well as photographs of shelter dogs in need of a forever home. We hope that all of Andy and Wacha’s celebrity friends attend, and bring home at least one dog each.
