Rainy Days and Thursdays
Andy talks Carla's elimination, Padma's bikini, and the Salahis.

It is pouring like I don't know what. Pouring like a hellcat, is what it is. I have a nutty day including a presentation for which I need to cram as soon as I stop me bloggin. I woke up at 6 am to box this morning, which is making me feel great right now, but I am wondering at what point I am going to be ready for a nap.
Kind of a bummer elimination on Top Chef last night, eh? At this point we won't be happy to see any of the finalists go. Next week Padma rocks a bikini, and there's absolutely not a thing wrong with that! The craft service by the way in the Bahamas was probably the best we've ever had. I shot some stuff of us eating a midnight snack on finale night and will post it soon.
There's a great profile of Top Chef Season 2 finalist Sam Talbot in today's NYT Style Section. I am happy he's such a superstar.
I was psyched to read that HBO is making Game Change into a film, and that Julianne Moore is playing Sarah Palin. If you haven't read the book, it is a page turner. It's like a political soap opera. Speaking of which, I do not know what to make of the Salahi news regarding Celebrity Rehab, but I can be sure there are about eight or eighteen sides to that particular story. I would enjoy hearing them all.
I feel like I have totally missed out on American Idol this season and will just wind up skipping the whole thing. I am, though, engrossed in rough cuts of Platinum Hit. I know that's a shameless plug, but at times I can be quite shameless. You know that.
And that is a good segue -- Don't forget tomorrow morning it is yours truly co-hosting with Kelly Ripa on Live with Regis and Kelly and our guests will be Aaron Eckhart and John Leguizamo. Check us out!
