It's Friday night and time to go see some art! My friends always tease me because of my abnormal adoration of glittery mother-of-the-bride jackets, 80's sequin party dresses, faux fur, big hats, and shiny belts
Pretty much every morning, I roll my carpet in my living room back over my coffee table so I can do a cheesy exercise DVD ...and this is what I look like afterwards....YES! This means it's time for breakfast!
I LOVE breakfast and pretty much eat the same thing every day: 2 veggie "sausage" patties, egg whites, a multi-vitamin, and LOTS of ketchup! If I don't eat breakfast, I turn into a MONSTER- my friends call it "T-Rexing" or "rexing" for short...
This is the OTHER thing I have to have in the mornings to keep me from turning into a monster- I call it "Quiet Time" (I sound like a toddler) but it's my prayer time and Bible study/journaling time...my loved ones can actually call me out for not having one if I've got a snappy attitude!
Look! We're back to food again! I like to take homemade lunches to Patrick at school- here we are with peaches in the sculpture garden by the school of the Art Institute of Chicago- where we both go/went to grad school
This, on the other hand, is Patrick's fantastic studio at SAIC! You can see the lake and part of Millennium Park and also an awesome gargoyle just outside hte left window. Patrick is in the Art & Technology Department
Here's my awesome family at my graduation- don't be fooled- it was definitely NOT my brother who got that MFA diploma, I just make him hold it for the photo...couldn't twist my wrist the right way to hold it myself. I LOVE THEM!
I recently went back to OK to celebrate my Grandpa's 90th birthday. Here is my mom, dad, brother, aunt Jane, Grandparents and Patrick at our home. No, I'm not wearing pajamas...no matter what my brother says...
Here I am with Kara and her gilded sister, Ann, on top of the John Hancock building on a Friday night. Ann is a fantastic graphic designer and Kara is just plain fantastic...mainly because she has dimples and blues eyes, and I don't
