Alicia Egolum

Dr. Alicia Egolum is an ambitious dentist turned mompreneur who joins the ladies of “Married to Medicine.” She was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama and completed her bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and went on to complete her doctorate degree at Howard University. 

She is the first doctor in her family, an honor she is proud to claim having grown up in a single-parent household with her mom and sister. Recently her other passions have taken center stage which has led her to pivot mid-career to pursue real estate. She is extroverted, assertive and optimistic, her pursuit of excellence knows no limits as she takes on her new role as a mom of two and realtor licensed in four states, with plans of eventually launching a children’s clothing line inspired by her children.

When she is not traveling with her family, she enjoys giving back by providing free dental care to those in need through community outreach and mission trips.

Dr. Alicia resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband, Dr. Nkemakonam Egolum, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and their two children.
