Brynn Whitfield Reveals What *Really* Happened with Shep Rose: “Not Feeling It”
The RHONY cast member also shared if she would date a Bravoleb.
At BravoCon 2023, Andy Cohen attempted to play matchmaker for Brynn Whitfield after she had previously expressed interest in Shep Rose on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen earlier in the year.
Initially, The Real Housewives of New York City cast member and the South Carolina native hit it off, and the latter even shared an update on their potential romance during a panel. “Okay so update," Brynn said at the time. "We're actually having a drink before I go to Watch What Happens Live tonight.”
After grabbing a drink together, Brynn and Shep decided to end things before they even started. In the latest episode of Bravo's Hot Mic podcast (clip above), Brynn sat down with host Alex Baskin and Bravo executive Sezin Cavusoglu, where she revealed what went wrong with her and Shep.

During their conversation, Alex asked Brynn to explain why love didn't work out between her and Shep. “Yeah, it was interesting… so we met at The Bravos, and it was like OK,” she began before saying that Shep reminded her of the guys she would date in college.
Brynn later revealed that she was "not feeling it" with Shep after they hung out, and she eventually told Andy to "get him away from me." What's more, the RHONY ‘Wife also revealed that she used Austen Kroll to avoid Shep at BravoCon by chatting with him.

Although Brynn and Shep's connection fizzled out, the apple holder is still searching for love. On the Hot Mic podcast, Alex asked Brynn if she would ever date a Bravoleb, and her response may come as a surprise.
“I don’t know if I would actually date a reality TV person,” Brynn admitted. She later clarified that she prefers to date guys who are “way too busy" to film.
