On Below Deck Mediterranean and Below Deck Sailing Yacht, we've seen Adam Glick whip up elaborate, multi-course dinners for charter guests. But the chef had his start making some decidedly more casual fare.

In a recent Instagram post, Adam revealed a surprising fact about his past life. "My very first job in the kitchen was making pizzas, stretching and tossing dough in front of the guests," he wrote. "I loved it. Making pizzas faster than you can think, all while putting on a bit of show for the customers."

He also dished out some industry wisdom. "The key to stretching pizza dough is letting gravity do the work," he shared. "Tossing it in the air is really just for show and does nothing but make a mess." Who knew?

The post also featured photos of the chef in action, tossing dough in a forested setting as bits of yeast and flour sparkled in the sun. In the second slide, Adam showed a finished pie with bubbling cheese and perfectly crisped edges.

The moral of this story? A charter guest could do worse than to request a pizza night aboard the Parsifal III
