Kate Chastain Revealed the Real Root of Her Drama with Hannah Ferrier at BravoCon
The Below Deck chief stew shed more light on her recent falling-out with her Below Deck Med counterpart.
Kate Chastain shocked us all when she confirmed that she is no longer friends with Hannah Ferrier during an interview with The Daily Dish in October. And now we have a better idea as to why this Below Deck-Below Deck Mediterranean friendship came to an end.
Kate didn't mince words when it came to talking about Hannah during the Below Deck: OGs Ready or Yacht panel at BravoCon on Saturday, November 16, which also featured Captain Lee Rosbach and Ben Robinson. When one audience member asked her during the fan Q&A portion of the event what she thought of Captain Sandy Yawn's criticism of Hannah's tablescapes, she said she agreed with the Below Deck Med boss.
"Over the years, watching Hannah, I could just always tell we had very different styles of being a chief stew, but I just wanted to be supportive," Kate explained. "But now, we're not really friends because I heard she was talking poorly about me behind my back."
Another fan asked Kate about what Hannah allegedly said about her that made her want to stop being friends. "I mean, she said a lot of things, and they weren't true, which really bothered me," Kate said. "She's just kind of a person I don't trust."
Kate also said that she did confront Hannah about this by sending her a message. "I was like, 'You know, I don't like what you said,'" Kate shared. "And she left me unread and never answered. Like if she had answered, I'd be like, 'No worries!' Or, 'Whatever.'"
Hannah has not yet publicly addressed Kate's comments. Kate opened up more about her drama with Hannah during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in October, which you can view, above.
