Which Below Deck Couple Did The People's Couch Alums Ship the Most

Bravo fans first fell in love with Blake McIver and Emerson Collins as two-thirds of a couch trio who loved to watch and comment on television on The People's Couch. While Blake and Emerson are no strangers to watching crossover episodes of their favorite television shows, they became a crossover episode themselves when they appeared as charter guests on Season 4 of Below Deck. They had the opportunity that most viewers don't get: They experienced charter life and witnessed the crew drama firsthand. Blake and Emerson remain devoted fans of the show, and on Tuesday night's episode of the Bravo podcast, After Deck with Kate Chastain, they shared their thoughts with Kate on this season including a particular crew hookup they wished had happened.
"When Kyle got on the boat and went for Jen, I was like, 'No! Go for Bruno!'" Emerson said. "There's such a huge opportunity here for the like Bi/Pan boy like meetup moment. Like, make that happen." Emerson was, of course, was referring to a moment from this season when Bruno Duarte and Kyle Dixon bond on the deck over their shared views on fluid sexuality and reveal they've had relationships with both men and women.
According to Kate, Emerson wasn't the only one shipping for a Bryle romance. "I see a lot of people on social media have said that when that episode aired. Like, that's what they thought was going to happen." However, Kate's skeptical that a relationship or even a hookup between the two would happen. "I never got that vibe," Kate explained. "I think actually Kyle would hook up with anything willing."
"I mean, I feel like he just likes a crazy challenge, like, a challenge that's also crazy," Emerson added.
"Yeah, I don't think Kyle would have been Bruno's type, either. I don't know."
Fans may never know if sparks could have ignited between the former British soldier from Manchester and the Portuguese deckhand from Lisbon, but these alums from The People's Couch have given many viewers a lot to ponder.
