While some opted for flashier frocks and bold hues, Simone went for a decidedly edgier look in a sleek, sexy dress that showed just the right amount of strategic skin. "I think I was just trying to go for a bit of glam, but chic," Simone explains in the video above. "Not trying too much. Not trying too hard to look good. It's kind of edgy, like with the geometrical lines and the cutouts and stuff." Her black, single-sleeved, midi-length dress features a deep v-neckline with a playful center cutout. The form-fitting number also boasted a sultry center high slit to show off some leg.
Simone paired her low-key stunning dress with black T-strapped heels and high-volume curls. Her bronzy makeup was the perfect complement to her subtle smoky eye.
