The Journey

Shawn finds inspiration in Bethenny and her massive growth over the season.

I always like meeting my wedding clients the week of their wedding; it helps to calm nerves while finalizing any details that may have changed at the last minute. Elizabeth, Benny, and Lori (the bride's mother) were some of the absolute best clients I have worked with in a long time. I love all my clients, but this particular couple was a breath of fresh air. They were always on time and always polite. They are one of those that I look forward to staying in touch with for years to come, and they are the reason why I do what I do. For their trust I am ever grateful!

It's so hard to believe the Season 2 is coming to an end. . .For me it seems like yesterday I was helping Bethenny plan her 40th birthday. And over the past year it's been great watching Bethenny grow as a person, a brand, and a business. She took a simple idea and launched it into something that is, quite frankly, beyond words. She went from wondering if she could have it all, to actually having it all in a very short period of time. Others would break under the pressure and -- although at times Bethenny almost did -- she showed us how to cope, accept, and grow given the changes in our lives.

Bethenny is right: "life is about the journey not the destination." Watching Bethenny this past season has given me the inspiration to take the next step to grow my business and grow as a person. She's taught me to never take no for an answer, believe in myself, and most of all follow my dreams. I thank Bethenny for inspiring me to enjoy the journey no matter where I travel. And I have to tell you thus far it's been an amazing journey, and I can't wait for what lies ahead!

Until next time -- thank you all for your love and support! Be well and cheers!
