These Are the Only Gifts '80s Babies Want This Christmas
For your friends who still say "eat my shorts."
The '80s were a magical time in history comprised of humongous hair and ridiculously weird cartoons. Video games were just becoming a thing, and Lionel Richie had us all dancing on the ceiling. Gremlins were hiding behind every corner, an alien puppet was on TV making us howl with laughter, and we spent our days trying to solve a cube-shaped puzzle.
Anyone who was lucky enough to be born in the '80s is a true American hero for surviving the weirdest decade of all time. Having come into the world in 1980, I consider myself an arbiter of hilarious taste, mainly because the role models who shaped me include Jem and her Holograms, Prince, Mr. T, and Inigo Montoya.
So I’ve taken it upon myself to round up the best gifts for us '80s babies, because I know y’all will appreciate (and need) that Lost Boys poster. So let’s all wang chung tonight…and get shopping.
