Bethenny Frankel Is Celebrating Her Birthday With a Miami Beach Break From Puerto Rico Relief Work
The #RHONY humanitarian is recharging.
Bethenny Frankel has been — in her own words — going "rogue" in order to provide aid and relief to victims of natural disasters in Puerto Rico, Houston, and Mexico. And as tirelessly as she's been working, she's also found moments to recharge her own battery along Florida's sunny shores.
She was spotted at the Faena Hotel in Miami in October, and returned to South Beach over the weekend to belatedly celebrate her 47th birthday with an afternoon by the ocean — one day after flying back to Puerto Rico on her actual birthday (November 4) to help once again. She noted on her Instagram that the island still has only about 25 percent electricity as it continues slowly along its rough road to recovery.

It's an extra bittersweet time for Bethenny: Her beloved dog Cookie passed away at age 17 on October 30. But there's certainly much still to be thankful for, and she knows just how to celebrate: at the beach!
