Ciara's Gorgeous Wedding Gown Turned Her Into a "Fashion Fairytale Princess"
That Chantilly-lace appliqué takes the (wedding) cake.
We let out a collective squeal yesterday when the news broke: Ciara and Russell Wilson are hitched! While the pair seems to have pulled off a private(ish) ceremony at an English castle, the details of Ciara's stunning gown are officially out of the bag.
Peter Dundas, creative director of Roberto Cavalli, custom made Ciara's exquisite dress. Yesterday, the brand posted a photo of the elated bride, noting that she looked like a "fashion fairytale princess." (Which makes sense, since Ciara's middle name is Princess. Yep, for real!)
With a V-neckline, the dress comprised layer upon layer of white silk tulle; it was made even more princess-y with floral embroidery and delicate glass beads. Ready for the icing? A white, Chantilly lace appliqué covered the entire look. Ciara's best accessory, of course, was her handsome groom, who wore a spiffy tux by Giorgio Armani.
We hear that Kelly Rowland, La La Anthony, and Serena Williams were all in the bridal party. But while we wait to see the first snaps of what the 'maids wore (not that we're refreshing our feeds constantly or anything) we'll continue to ogle Ciara's lacy confection. Mazel to the newlyweds!
