Portuguese Soccer Star Cristiano Ronaldo Was Honored With a Terrifying Statue

Like the vast majority of soccer stars, Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo is a total babe. And on Wednesday, his hometown of Funchal in Portugal's Madeira region wished to honor his hotness and ability on the field, according to Buzzfeed. They did so by naming their airport the Cristiano Ronaldo Madeira International Airport, which is pretty wild.
To further mark the historic occasion, a beautiful bronze bust of Cristiano was commissioned and revealed at the ceremony. Brace yourselves:

It's hard to tell if this was a deliberate swipe at Cristiano or if the sculptors of Funchal still have work to do, but if it was a deliberate ploy to get more people to fly in, it’s already working:
