H&M's Fall Collab Is With Kate Middleton and Alexa Chung's Go-To Designer
Calling all floral-print lovers!
H&M just announced the luxury fashion brand it's teaming up with for its annual fall collaboration—and floral-print fans will be very happy! This November's collab is with London-based designer Erdem Moralioglu, whose elegant work is beloved by stars like Emma Stone, Keira Knightley, Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, and Emma Watson. He's also dressed Alexa Chung for the Met Gala, and Kate Middleton often turns to Erdem for her royal wardrobe.
Now we'll be able to add Erdem's feminine, romantic designs to our closet at H&M prices, not Net-a-Porter prices. Here's a glimpse of what to expect from ERDEM x H&M, which will hit stores and online on November 2.
The collection will include womenswear and accessories, just like past H&M collabs like Kenzo or Balmain.
There will be a men's collection too, for the first time in Erdem's history.
“I’ve always been fascinated by things that explore femininity,” Erdem told H&M, “whether it’s lace or flowers or the aesthetics of beauty.” It's kind of genius then that H&M teamed up with film director Baz Luhrmann for a video of the ERDEM x H&M collection. Who better than the Moulin Rouge! director to translate that into film, with models running around an English country home and garden in florals, sweeping gowns, and leopard-print coats.
We just have one question: Does Kate have to wait till November 2, too?
