Millennial pink is officially everywhere. It's popping up in restaurants, makeup, and now it's in suit form, on everyone's favorite teen heartthrob. One Direction-er Harry Styles will release his solo album debut this Friday, and he hit the Today show stage yesterday in the brightest of bright pink suits.
You might think it looks very Gucci, especially when worn with a million rings and a lounge lizard-style black buttonup, but Fashionista has it that Harry's pink suit is a bespoke piece by Edward Sexton. He's the famous British tailor who designed Bianca Jagger's white wedding suit. Is this more evidence that Harry's channeling Mick Jagger?
But maybe, just maybe, Harry is sending a secret message with this suit. The "Harry Styles" solo album once had a working title of "Pink" and hints of that remain. Here's the album artwork; notice the pink theme? Whether this is merely good branding or something more, pink is definitely Harry's new power color.
