Kendall Jenner Is Officially the World's Highest Paid Model Making This Much...
And, for the first time ever, a plus-size model is in the top 10.
All those La Perla, Adidas, and Pepsi campaigns add up: Kendall Jenner just stole Gisele's title as the world's highest paid supermodel, according to Forbes. The magazine tallies up the top earners every year in the modeling world, and this is the first time since 2002 that Gisele isn't number one on that list.
What does it take to replace Gisele? Jenner reportedly made a whopping $22 million in 2017 from both ad campaigns and design deals ranging from jewelry collabs to her own line with sister Kylie. Momager Kris Jenner, start popping the champagne! Jenner's been stalking catwalks for top brands like Chanel for years, but this is a crowning achievement for her resume.
This isn't the only interesting news on the Forbes supermodel list. Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid both made the the top 10, with Gigi in the fith slot (reportedly earning $9.5 million) and Bella appearing as the ninth best-paid model with a reported $6 million.
Adriana Lima and Karlie Kloss round out the top 10, but a very familiar face is catching up to Gisele and Kendall. None other than Instagram's favorite supermodel/chef/mom Chrissy Teigen is the third top-earner, making a reported $13.5 million this year thanks to collabs and ads for brands like Vita Coco.
It's Teigen's first appearance on the list, and she's joined by another Forbes newbie: Ashley Graham is the first plus-size model to ever grace the Forbes supermodel list. She nabbed the 10th spot, reportedly pulling in $5.5 million in 2017 — and she did it all without Victoria's Secret.
