Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s Reveals the Health Status of Her Son, Kash

Four months ago, Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s animal-loving son Kash was hospitalized after sustaining serious injuries from a dog bite. Despite the frightening incident—which required multiple surgeries and left Kash with a scar on his eye—the kindergartner made a full recovery and his love of dogs hasn’t dampened whatsoever.

As Kim shared on Instagram back in May, "Kroy and I felt it was super important to continue to encourage Kash to be around animals. Kash is an absolute animal lover and I didnt/don't want him to fear animals after all he has been through. (The 2nd day he was in the hospital their was a service dog visiting all the children and I asked Kash if he wanted to see the dog, 'He screeched Yes' and was all snuggled up to the dog in less than a minute as if nothing ever happened!)"

So it should come as no surprise that the Don’t Be Tardy mama gifted her son with a pit bull puppy for his fifth birthday! The fawn Pibble—named Sailor—featured on Kim’s Snapchat on Tuesday. “My heart is going to explode,” she wrote over a picture of Kash snuggling the puppy.

The newest furry member of the Zolciak-Biermann family bears a resemblence to Kim's three foster dogs, Shiloh, Sage, and Stella. The dogs—who she is fostering through a small, Atlanta-based organization called Keep Calm and Rescue—were rescued from deplorable conditions, chained up and malnourished in a man’s backyard.

“In love!!” Kim posted on her Instagram. “If I could rescue all the dogs in this world I would! For the punk ass that treated these dogs so terribly Karma WILL find you.”
