Kourtney Kardashian is definitely the biggest health fanatic in the Kar-Jenner clan, so it's no surprise that she doesn't drink coffee. In fact, the reality star says she's "allergic" to it and hasn't touched it since her early 20s, as reported by PEOPLE.
"I get really hyper and really on edge when I drink it, so I stopped drinking it when I was 21 or 22," she revealed in a post on her app.
So was does the busy mom of three turn to when she craves a much-needed caffeine boost? Kardashian sips on green tea, which she says gives her a longer dose of energy than coffee would. And there are additional health benefits, too: “I swear it makes my tummy flatter! Also, green tea can help reduce the signs of cellulite,” she wrote in the post.
Her favorite way to drink it? With honey and a splash of almond milk. She'll also have an iced green tea before a workout to give her an extra energy boost.
Kardashian is definitely on to something—green tea is known to have anti-inflammatory properties and is packed with antioxidants. It's also said to improve memory, help battle cancer, and burn fat. So maybe it's time to put down the cup of joe and sip on a mug of matcha instead.
