Lauren Conrad Is Obsessed With This "Magic" Beauty Cream
It's made with royal jelly and bee pollen.
Lauren Conrad is a natural beauty. Pun intended! The designer just opened up her makeup bag for Us Weekly, and revealed that its contents are all natural.
Lauren confided to the mag that she's pretty "low-maintenance" when it comes to her beauty routine, and will avoid wearing makeup at all if she can. Over the years, she's pared her collection down to a few key items, and those items happen to be safe for pregnant ladies to use. (You know Lauren's expecting, right?)
So, what's inside that makeup bag? LC stocks some products you may expect, like the namesake shampoo by her hairstylist, Kristin Ess. She also has the "Amazonian" clay blush from Tarte, which is a pretty pale shade of pink, and a lip balm from Sugar is always on hand.
But, here's where things get a little more interesting. Lauren praised this mysterious-sounding "Egyptian Magic" moisturizer that we've heard other celebs rave about as well. Kate Hudson slathers the stuff on when she's on a plane, for example, while Rashida Jones uses it as lip balm.
LC uses it to make her dry skin nice and dewy, and applies it twice a day. "It's olive oil, beeswax, honey, royal jelly and bee pollen extract," she told US Weekly. It's sort of like a natural aquaflora, but it’s not as sticky."
Our new weekend plans? Get a tub of this stuff. It's time.
