The Hills alum Lauren Conrad is constantly evolving her LC brand—she recently debuted handbags and beachwear—and her latest drop is (no surprise here!) a maternity collection…perfectly-timed to coincide with her pregnancy. Since announcing she had a baby on board earlier this year, Conrad’s bump has rarely been photographed, either in public or for her brand’s photo shoots, so it was a treat for fans to get a peek of her in all her prego glory modeling pieces from this new line. And, to be expected, she looks adorable and gorgeous all at once. Sigh.

As a fellow pregnant lady, I have to say the collection fills a void in the maternity clothing world right now. With what you ask? Cute, basic pieces that are on-trend and affordable. Like the chambray off-the-shoulder dress that’s only 30 bucks. And the $19 crocheted tank that I can pair with skirts and shorts all summer long—a staple for sure, but not a boring one thanks to the crocheted detailing.

We prego ladies often feel marooned on maternity island when it comes to clothing our ever-growing bumps, so I salute any designer that offers to dress us, and especially one that does it with budget-friendly pieces that I can mix and match all season long.
