Pink Delivers Powerful Speech to Her Daughter at VMAs and We're Definitely Inspired
A message we all needed to hear, to be honest.
Pink arrived at the 2017 MTV VMAs making a bold statement. She hit the red carpet with her husband, Cary Hart, and daughter, Willow, all decked out in matching men's suits.

And by the time she hit the stage to accept the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award following a show-stopping medley of her biggest hits, she took that statement about empowerment and gender to the next level by delivering a powerful message to her daughter who watched her from the audience.
The speech was as funny, sassy, and honest as the singer herself, who opened up about how her daughter was being teased for looking like a boy. From there, Pink, who recently released new single "What About Us," spoke directly to Willow: “Baby girl, we don’t change. We take the gravel in the shell and we make a pearl. We help other people to change, so they can see all kinds of beauty.”
