Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka Took Their Kids on a "Delicious and Amazing" Alaskan Vacation

Obviously, the picture-perfect fam encountered a rainbow.

Traveling with young kids doesn't have to be ho-hum and unglamorous. You could do it by studying tips for traveling like a celebrity family, for instance — or just following the lead of your favorite one on Instagram.

The latest picture-perfect example of exciting family travel? Well, take it from Neil Patrick Harris and husband David Burtka, who just took their six and a half-year-old twins on a flawless-looking vacation to Alaska.

They worked with Within The Wild Adventure Co on their itinerary and stay in Skwentna, Alaska. Both proud papas documented their trip on their Instagram accounts.

They checked out glaciers and rocks...

. . . And even hit the water themselves.

They mostly stayed outside enjoying majesty of nature... but indoors they feasted on King crab.

Alaska is delicious and amazing!! Thanks @withinthewild for fantastic time. Everything was perfect!

And to cap off the trip, they found a perfect rainbow.
