Nicki Minaj Teased a Glittering Holiday Fashion Campaign, and We're Freaking Out
This holiday season is the gift that keeps on giving.
Just as we were coming down from the fashion high that was Erdem x H&M, the Swedish retailer went and upped the ante. With a little help from Nicki Minaj.
On October 31, the rapper posted a tantalizing teaser on Instagram. The image shows off Minaj looking like a princess from a snow-covered kingdom. In a glittering dress with a flowing, winter-white train, the fashion-savvy popstar grins at the camera as she swings on a carnival ride.
"All new [H&M] Holiday Campaign shot in Scotland. Stay tuned," the caption teases. Meanwhile, H&M itself teased the project, posting the same photo with the caption: "They say a picture says more than a 1000 words, but let's say it out loud, too: [Nicki Minaj] is one of the stars in our upcoming holiday campaign!
Wait, that's all we get? While we wait to see the rest of the delicious holiday images the retailer has on tap, we'll always have Minaj's hair. Seriously, watching her locks transform is one of our hobbies.
While the campaign teaser shows long, dark locks, just a few days ago the "Super Bass" singer was sporting a blonde look that was plucked from Rapunzel's playbook.
We're hoping that whatever's brewing at H&M is as bold, whimsical, and fabulous as Minaj herself. And in the meantime, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled on her Instagram feed — and wondering which other stars will appear in the campaign. Is an appearance from Mariah Carey too much to ask?
