We Can't Wait to Get Our Hands on These Crunchy Peanut Butter Cups

It's an exciting time for candy lovers everywhere.

By Maggie Shi

After weeks of teasing on social media, Reese's just unveiled a brand-new upgrade to its beloved peanut butter cups—peanut butter cups filled with crunchy chocolate bits in the center. It's called the Crunchy Cookie Cup, and it's essentially the same as the classic, but with little nibs of crushed chocolate cookie goodness scattered in the peanut butter filling.

Um…can you say yum? Initial reviews have been overwhelmingly positive.

We have to admit, we're pretty excited about this addition. (Anyone ever had a Carvel ice cream cake, with that layer of crunchy chocolate bits between the vanilla and chocolate ice creams? Yeah, you know what we're talking about…) Sadly, Reese's Crunchy Cookie Cups won't be available until May, so we'll be counting down the days.

Everyone's been gushing about the new Reese's cups, but let's not let that distract us from some other very important developments happening in the candy world. M&M's also recently debuted a limited edition Strawberry-Nut flavor, which is currently available at Walmart and some drugstores.

While this isn't quite as exciting as the Reese's news (M&M's rolled out a limited edition strawberry flavor last year), it's still good news. After all, strawberry + peanuts + chocolate has to be delicious, right?

And of course, earlier this week Starburst announced it would be releasing packages of all-pink candies (i.e. the strawberry-flavored ones) in response to fans' overwhelming love for pink Starbursts. They'll be available April at places like Walmart and Target.

So excited! Yippee! 😋💗 #IAmPinkStarburst #PinkStarburst #Starburst #AllPink

Looks like this spring is shaping up to be a banner season for favorite candy upgrades, and it's not even Easter yet. Now can Kit Kat just release a Nutella version already?
