We’ve talked to y’all a lot about swimsuits this summer. We’ve covered flattering options that elongate your legs, structured suits that hold up your DDs, plus-size cuties that are just that (actually cute!)—and now we’re here to talk about the latest trend that we just can’t ignore anymore. That’s right, we’re looking right at you, side boob.

Side boob peek-a-boos (peek-a-boobs?) cropped up last year and while we thought it would be a fleeting style, one only has to scroll through celebrity vacation photos (like Kourtney Kardashian’s lust-worthy holiday in the South of France) to see that the trend is firmly rooted in summer 2017 style. And unlike the other swimsuits we’ve covered—we’re not gonna lie—these aren’t universally flattering or created for all. Someone with E-cup boobs, for instance, might have to sit this fad out. Or someone who is innately body-conscious and prefers to be sucked in.
