Spring Is Here! So, Let’s Gussy Up Our Front Doors, Shall We?

Spring has sprung people, and even though many of us still see snow when we look out our windows, it’s time to embrace the new season (and say bye, bye, bye to this damn winter!). How do we do this? Well, for one, we get cleaning. It’s time to donate those sweaters you haven’t worn in five years. It’s time to clean out the vast expanse that is below your bathroom sink. It’s time to harness the chaos in your jewelry drawer.
You know what else it’s time for? Spring decorating. We’re not saying you need to break the bank here—the opposite, actually, as it turns out on-trend artwork is actually cheap! But adding some key pieces to your home with freshen the space and add some life to your walls and doors. My favorite thing to splurge on twice a year (spring and fall) is a new wreath for my front door. The first thing your friends and family see when they’re pulling up to your home is your door, and whether yours is a stately wood or vibrant hue, adding the right accent wreath just makes your curb appeal go POP. And if you’re an apartment dweller, you’re contributing to your hallway’s bright, airy space with each new wreath you add to your front door—your neighbors owe you one!
While I’m partial to the yellow forsythia, I’m also eyeing Terrain’s gorge hydrangea wreath, the oversized fig leaf option from Pier 1 and Target's sweet-as-pie morning gloring wreath that would be oh-so-perfect for my mud room this spring. Which one are your favorites?
