The Internet Is Going Nuts Over A $5 T-Shirt

Fast fashion has caught on to feminism.

After Show: 'Housewives' and Feminism

Feminism was all over the Spring and Fall runways. And, rest assured: We don't mean that in a flippant, feminism, so hot right now! kind of way. We mean awareness for the movement was literally splashed across t-shirts and referenced in accessories at several shows.

Missoni's Fall runway, for example, was flooded with the "pussy hats" made famous by the Women's March.

At Prabal Gurung's Fall show, Bella Hadid—whose mom, as we know, is all about female empowerment—was moved to tears by the feminist message.

And at Christian Dior, Maria Grazia Chiuri sent We Should All Be Feminists t-shirts down the runway for Spring.

So it was only a matter of time before the runway trend trickled down to fast fashion. And, it's hardly surprising how fast this totally affordable tee gathered buzz—especially when it has such cute spokespeople.

Through its Cat & Jack collection, Target put out a $5 t-shirt that says Strong Like Mom across its front. Please note: The t-shirt is available for boys and girls. Parents quickly began posting snaps of their wee ones wearing the shirt, adding the hashtag #stronglikemom.

Here's a few that have us smiling wide, starting with this very young one who knows what's up.
