This App Aims to Help You Find the "Perfect" Jeans

Finding the perfect pair of jeans is a true fashion mission. Whether it’s finding the right inseam length or a curve-flattering fit, we all have our own denim battles. But what if we told you that you can now find your ideal fit without even leaving your home? Well, thanks to the LikeAGlove app, you now can.

Typically, finding the right pair of jeans would involve countless hours in a fitting room, but LikeAGlove uses a pair of smart leggings to replace that process. The Smart Garment measures your figure at four points along your waist and hips.

Then, the Smart Garment uses a Bluetooth connection to send that data straight to the LikeAGlove app on your phone, and loads your measurements within seconds. Once your measurements are loaded, the app then matches you with a selection of jeans from a variety of brands including Lucky, Levi’s, and Old Navy. Each pair of jeans is scored through a five star rating process, with five stars being the most compatible for your body type.

Recently, several YouTubers have put this app to the test. Safiya Nygaard was matched with several five-star jeans. While most of the jeans Safiya tried seemed to fit her well as far as size goes, she did find they each had their own small quirks.

Brooke of TheSocialBrooke, also tried on several jeans, which she was matched with through the app. And while she may not have been a fan of all of the styles, she did find that they all fit her well.

“I was a bit skeptical about these leggings, but as I said all five of the jeans I picked fit me perfectly. Might not have liked the style, but they did fit nonetheless,” Brooke said in her video.

Overall, the app does seem to add a convience approach to online shopping. However, it looks like the quest for "perfect jeans" is never-ending.
