French fashion house Balmain is always innovating when it comes to fashion. But, the salon's newest salon development is even more high-tech than Kim Kardashian's robotic bling. The new Balmain Hair Couture Système Volume hair extension tool adds volume to hair in less than a minute.

It looks sort of like a blow dryer or a glue gun, but it works like magic. A plastic case holding the extensions clips into your hair, then the gun seals the hair extensions in just 35 seconds or so. Balmain claims this "revolutionary" process is five times faster than traditional extension bonding, and Cosmopolitan reports that extensions applied with Balmain's Système Volume can last up to six months.

That gold Balmain logo makes this futuristic tool look even more luxe, we have to say.

For now, you'll only find the Balmain Hair Couture Système Volume application tool at select Balmain partner salons, and most of these salons are abroad. But we'll be ready when long-lasting extensions via machine come to US soil, and until then, the videos are pretty mesmerizing.
