Viola Davis has an Oscar, an Emmy, and a Tony Award under her belt. And, if there were a statuette for excellent parenting skills, she'd probably have that on her mantle as well. The How to Get Away With Murder actress is teaching her 6-year-old daughter Genesis how to embrace her natural beauty, starting with her gorgeous hair.

Davis told Yahoo! News that she works hard to teach Genesis not “to grow up wanting someone’s everything.” And that includes coveting the hair of the Disney princesses and other characters the wee one likes to dress up as. "I say, ‘You gotta wear your hair exactly the way it is. You can be Wonder Woman, but you gotta be Wonder Woman with your hair. You can be Elsa, but you gotta be Elsa with your hair," the actress said.

Davis' rules seem to encourage her daughter's imagination, while also teaching Genesis to bring her own sense of identity and style to playtime. We are all for the powerful parenting tactic!

Also, we can't help but admire Genesis' taste in girl crushes. The cutie pie has been a Wonder Woman fan since she was just two years old:

Genesis at 2 almost 3. She wanted to keep her fro. #WonderWoman! We're ready!!! #TBT
