This is What Happens When Balmain's Creative Director Does Sportswear

As the creative director at Balmain, Olivier Rousteing has built an army of devoted fans. Let's not forget: he dressed almost all the Kardashians and Jenners for the Met Gala. So, when Rousteing tries his hand at athleisure, you'd better bet that those t-shirts, jackets, and sneakers have instant "it" status.

Olivier has teamed up with Nike on a collaboration that's aptly dubbed NikeLab x Olivier Rousteing: Football Nouveau. Available online and in select NikeLab stores today, the collection is all about sportswear with a "golden touch." In a video that showcases the collection (check it out, above), Olivier explains: "I really wanted to mix black and gold. Black, because it's sleek and chic. And the gold is about victory."

In the whole winning collection, the designer's favorite piece is the N98 Jacket x OR, which was inspired by an iconic soccer player's jacket. But Olivier's version is longer and more body-con. Bonus: the women's jacket can also be worn as a dress.
