You've heard of the lob hairstyle, but are you ready for the "kob"? Kate Middleton just changed up her hair for summer, chopping a few inches off her impossibly bouncy hair. She revealed her fresh new trim this week at the Wimbledon tennis tournament, where she wore a Dolce & Gabbana polka-dot dress.
The world follows Kate's hairstyle so closely that there's now a new word created just to describe this haircut. The Telegraph's beauty team dubbed Kate's hair the kob, as in the Kate bob. “It’s slightly longer than the ‘lob’,” The Telegraph’s Victoria Hall explains.
Whatever you call it, Kate's hair looks really fresh. She's probably reacting to the match here, but we're imagining its her reaction to her new cut.
Here's what Kate's haircut looked like last week, for comparison.
Okay, so we also posted that last snap so you can see Kate's fun, retro Gucci dress! Speaking of dresses, while Kate's making headlines with her hair, sister Pippa is getting stares for her risky fashion choices.
The newlywed wore a see-through dress by Self-Portrait to Wimbledon, and got plenty of attention.
