With Her New Beauty Line, JWOWW is Making Pale Blue Lipstick Look Good

You probably know Jenni “JWOWW” Farley from the era of The Jersey Shore, but she's been up to a lot since then, including becoming a mom and starting a new beauty line, JWOWW Cosmetics. We chatted with the reality star about her inspiration for the line, her favorite products, and all things beauty and being a mom post Jersey Shore!

We know her for her tan and party behavior, but there's a lot more to Jenni Farley. She's an artist and an innovator. "Before the TV shows, before the red carpets, before the magazine covers, I was an artist. I owned my own graphic design firm where I was able to use my creativity to help businesses grow. As a designer, I spent my days creating beautiful art. I love color and I love texture. When I joined the world of reality TV, I had to stop doing what I loved. Having a camera crew follow you around 24 hours a day means you need to look your best for at least 12 of those hours. It was during this time when I discovered my love for cosmetics, and makeup soon became the art I was missing in this new life."

Every face is a canvas, and for that reason, every makeup session was a lesson. "Every time I had my makeup done by professionals, I couldn’t wait to recreate the look myself. Every artist has their signature, and mine has become the sexy nude lip. "

There's a bunch of intense lip stains in this collection, which are perfect if you want to make a point with your pout. "I love all of my velvet lip stains, but I have to say, New York Nightlife is one of my favorites. It’s so unique and I’ve yet to see another color like it on the market. It’s unexpected, chic and cool."

And what about her partner in crime? What would she love from the collection? "Nicole is going to love Jersey Lust. It’s right up her alley—it’s not too red, not too berry. It’s just right."

Obviously: "Tans!"

"I can’t wait to teach Meilani all of my makeup tricks and hopefully save her some embarrassing makeup mishaps like I had back in my day. I just want to teach her that she doesn’t need makeup to be beautiful, but if she wants to explore her creativity, makeup is a great place to start."

Her icon is the legendary Angelina Jolie—need we say more?

We all have that one type of product we can't live without, for Jenni, it's concealer. 

"A product that everyone uses that I’m just not into is primer. I feel like my moisturizer does just as good of a job as any primers I’ve ever used."

"When I’m traveling, I always make sure I have some hydrating products on the plane. I love sheet masks and lip balm—those are my necessities for the plane. Whenever I’m on the go, I throw on my Marilyn lip stain, put my hair in a bun, use a little mascara and I feel like I’m ready to take on the world!"
