You Will Want to Copy Emily Ratajkowski's New Hairstyle Immediately
This is such a stylish way to start a new year.
In the glittering sea of Golden Globe dresses (and tuxes!) we almost missed the debut of a seriously fabulous new hairstyle. Emily Ratajkowski—who normally wears her hair long and lustrous—stepped out on the red carpet in a swishy new 'do that was the work of hairstylist Christian Wood. Seriously, just look at this cut:
Is it not something you want to pin and show to your stylist, stat? In his behind-the-scenes snaps of awards night, Christian referred to the look as a "faux bob."
Wait, so Emily faking it? Not exactly. "I wasn't planning on cutting the hair, but Emily wanted to do something different and daring," Christian told Elle. "I cut some of her actual hair on the top, and some on the sides to help blend into the faux bob." He then pinned some of her longer hair under the—let's call it a half-chop. Christian told the mag that he planned to give Emily some side-swept bangs after the awards show, but we haven't seen any evidence yet. Till we can check out Emily's total hair transformation, though, we're fine spending some more time ogling her amazing Reem Acra dress.
