With so many dining options available in Nashville, it's hard to know where to start when traveling to this Tennessee hot spot. Allow Brandi Cyrus to be your foodie guide. She's been eating and drinking her way through Nashville for years, and these are the places she can't get enough of.

FOOD

1. Barcelona

A Spanish/Mediterranean spot in the Edgehill Village neighborhood. It’s a tapas and wine bar with amazing food, great sangria, and the entire staff is so nice. Hospitality is 100 here, always.

2. Lockeland Table

This place might be my absolute favorite restaurant in Nashville, based solely on how fantastic the food is. It’s a farm-to-table restaurant, and everything is shareable/family style, which is good because TRUST, you will want everything on the menu. A great spot for date night or a nice night out with friends.

3. Pinewood Social

Right downtown on the river, it’s a casual spot and perfect for big groups. They even have a bowling alley inside, or you can sit outside by the pool in the summer and order off the specialty menu from a cute air stream bus! The kale salad is my favorite thing on the menu, and make sure you get the fried broccoli, because it’s to die for. The cocktails are excellent, too!

4. Mas Tacos

The perfect lunch spot, Mas Tacos is a tiny place with street-style tacos that are worth the drive to the East side. The chicken tortilla soup is also a favorite of mine, and you MUST try the street corn. Heads up, though, it's cash only!

5. Saint Anejo

Saint Anejo is an upscale Mexican spot with incredible food. The kale salad with salmon is one of my absolute favorite things to eat in Nashville. They have a super fun vibe, and it's right in The Gulch. When the weather is nice, it's indoor/outdoor, and it's always hoppin' on the weekends!

DRINKS

1. 308

This is my fave bar on the East side. It’s a tad hipster, but they have great cocktails, and the music is good, especially on the weekends!

2. Bar Sovereign

My GO-TO weekend spot downtown! Great drinks and music with a NYC vibe. It’s small and cozy in a good way.

3. Public House

Fall nights here are the best! Order a hot toddy and sit by the fire pit on the outside patio. You'll feel like you're at a cabin in the mountains!

4. Rolf + Daughters

A hot spot in a newly turned over, hip area called Germantown that’s just north of Downtown Nashville. Great cocktails, vibey atmosphere and wonderful food if you decide to have something small.

5. Rosepepper

An East Nashville staple with the best Margaritas you will EVER have.
