Kathy Hilton Addresses Rumors She's Joining RHOBH After She Was Spotted out with Andy Cohen (UPDATED)

Kyle Richards' big sister has a very interesting update on the Real Housewives gossip.

By Jocelyn Vena

UPDATE (June 12, 2019, 4:00 p.m.): Kyle Richards responded to rumors of sister Kathy Hilton joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on June 11. After a caller asked how she would feel if Kathy joined, Kyle responded, "I would be happy; I've had one sister on, why not have another sister on? My sister Kathy is actually — people don't know this — she is one of the funniest people there is. She's a practical joker and she's very, very funny. So I think she'd be an amazing housewife, actually."

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

And Andy commented on the rumors as well: "Daily Mail said that I took Kathy out to dinner to court her to be on the show. The truth is, I went to Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills and Kathy was at the table next to us and we took a photo together." Watch the video above to hear more.

Could there be another Richards-Hilton family member in the midst on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in the future? Well, not so fast. After Andy Cohen was spotted out with Kathy Hilton in a photo posted by his bestie, Bruce Bozzi, that included a rather eyebrow-raising, but kind of misleading caption, Kyle Richards' big sister quickly shot down the speculation on Instagram.

"Rumors of me joining the Beverly Hills Housewives would interfere with my real job of cutting hair," she wrote alongside a video of her, well, we guess, cutting hair or at least attempting to.

While Kathy has appeared on RHOBH in the past and confirmed there are no plans for a more permanent place on the series, Andy also briefly addressed the West Coast encounter on his radio show this week. He shared that they ran into each other in Beverly Hills last week and "Kathy was like, ‘Oh, we gotta take a pic.' Before we are out the door, I get in the car and look on Instagram, and there’s Bruce’s post that says, ‘Sign on the dotted line.' I will say I was amazed at how overwhelmingly positive people’s reaction to this was," he said via Us Weekly, adding, “There have been absolutely no conversations about this.”

Earlier this year, Kathy's daughter Paris Hilton was also rumored to be joining the show. Kyle shut the gossip down and Paris addressed it on WWHL weeks ago, which you can check out below.
