Wait, Don't Be Tardy's Chef Tracey Bloom Was on Top Chef?!
Who knew Kim Zolciak-Biermann was a tougher food critic than Tom Colicchio?
Bravotv.com: How did being on Top Chef prepare you to work for Kim Zolciak-Biermann?
Tracey Bloom: You really have to think on your feet on Top Chef. Typically you are cooking for the masses at a moment's notice. Cooking on Top Chef has its fill of ingredient, equipment, and time challenges. I'd say they are basically the same show.
Bravotv.com: Do you still keep in touch with any of the Top Chef contestants from your season?
TB: I keep in touch with most of my season's castmates even if just through social media. We all became quite close.
Bravotv.com: Who's a tougher critic: Tom Colicchio or Kim Zolciak-Biermann?
TB: Kim is by far a tougher critic and she has no problem telling me how she feels. The food is either amazing or horrible -- there's no in between for her.
Bravotv.com: Who's the toughest critic in the Biermann house?
TB: Kim is definitely the toughest critic in the family. When she's out of town I'm on easy street. Her tastes change from minute to minute, and if it's not chocolate covered chicken it's probably coming back to the kitchen for a replate.
