Date night looks a little different in 2020. Bodycon dresses and red carpet-ready frocks have taken a backseat to chic, cozy separates and dressed-up jeans that can stun for low-key nights on the couch or a laidback outdoor dinner dates. The college freshman has an enviable collection of statement jeans that is the key to her date night outfit. When the Don't Be Tardy daughter started her first day of college, she turned to a retro-inspired pair of flares for the occasion. But when it comes to evenings with her model boyfriend, Ariana reaches for her signature, barely-there jeans. 

On October 11, Ariana shared a sweet snap as she and her boyfriend hit up "fair week" in coordinating looks. Ariana wore her black-and-white striped crop sweatshirt with a pair of black jeans with more rips and holes than we can count. Peeks of Ariana's legs pop through her high-waisted style, but it isn't the only pair of torn-up jeans in Ariana's arsenal. 

On October 12, Ariana gave us a glimpse at another one of her go-to date night looks with a pair of light-wash, knee-baring jeans that are conveniently secured with a simple pair of shoe laces. Her flirty ensemble and clever belt hack is exactly the energy we're channeling for a casual 2020.
