Dorinda Medley Wonders When Ramona Singer Apologizes "Does She Learn From It?”
The RHONY cast member opens up about her drama with the Big Apple OG.
When it comes to The Real Housewives of New York City, social gatherings can often lead to drama — and that's definitely been the case for Ramona Singer during Season 11. She's faced criticism for how she treats people at parties and how she may have a tendency to opt for social climbing, as the cast shared on The Real Housewives of New York City After Show. And so when it came time for the crew to gather for the upcoming reunion, Dorinda Medley definitely made sure to address her own issues with Ramona.
“It was emotional. We address [the drama] with each other," Dorinda told Us Weekly, adding that specifically, “I address Ramona and her lack of memory."
Dorinda is referring to a moment earlier this season on RHONY in which the two women were slated to attend the same swanky event, but Ramona didn't recall the events of the night and the seating arrangement the same way Dorinda did (clip above).
In the episode, Dorinda says, "Ramona doesn't want to deal with it. She wants it to go away so she thinks if she thinks and screams... it's just gonna go away. But it's not."
In her interview with Us Weekly, Dorinda revealed this fact about Ramona and apologies: “She does [do] apologies, but that’s not the real question. The real question is does she internalize the apology, and does she learn from it?”
More on all that, below.
