Cameron's Midnight in Paris
Cameron shares one of his favorite cities.
What can be written about the "I Need Paris" episode? Isn't it so obvious? We all need Paris in our lives. I probably travel to Paris a minimum of twice a year and every time I land, I am like a kid in a candy store... more like EYE candy store. Paris is sensory overload. The sights and sounds and smells that only Paris can provide satiates a need in me. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Just like in Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris, it seems like music oozes out of street corners. And the smells: from parfum to patisserie... oh la la.
Paris is a shopper's paradise and I find things that I can't find anywhere else in the world. When buying for Decades, it seems the Paris pieces always end up in the closets of the most glamorous women. The Angelo Tarlazzi mint metallic dress was purchased by Kate Bosworth for her 30th birthday, which you can see HERE.
Abigail Spencer wore the aqua Balenciaga to a cocktail party for L.A.'s best fashion designers.
The Gucci bracelet and Tarlazzi spider jacket were both snatched up recently by some of our favorite clients. OK, we still have the Paco Rabanne pointy hat, but Marcus and I can share it...for church, of course.
Paris may bring me great joy, but the greatest pleasure I have experienced in Paris is observing someone else seeing this city for the first time. You don't really know and love Paris until you've shared Paris I am so happy I was able to share a bit of Paris with you.
