Arte de Mess-ico

Sarah thinks Jeff did a great job in spite of all the setbacks (but that maybe he should ease up on the guac).

By Sarah Berkman

Jeff is back from New York and feeling extremely overwhelmed with all of our projects. Especially Casa Vega and Barb and Bob's because he has been given a strict deadline on both projects. Deadlines are not something Jeff likes to honor because a lot of things go wrong that are out of our hands.  Knowing that there is a "punishment" if the job is not executed by a perceived due date can be rather daunting. This causes Jeff to be short tempered and in great need of his nightly martini.

I feel Jeff has been doing a fabulous job with Christy and Casa Vega.  Christy is at the project site on a daily basis because she looks after the restaurant.  Most of our clients only come to site when there is a meeting called.  In this case, Casa Vega has to be operating while all of this construction drama is on going.  This was a big challenge for JLD and Casa Vega to deal with.  It didn't help that Arte de Mexico were total morons. They sold us an incomplete door.  The front door IS where all the back up first began and that was out of our hands.  We did get to the bottom of it and the door looked great.  However Cinco de Mayo came and went.
The martinis, heavily salted chips, and guacamole could be getting out of hand.  Anything to ease Jeff from his rough days.
